Because the actual production can not use a microscope to measure the amount of cutting edge shortening, generally use a magnifying glass to check. When the tooth edge begins to appear - a thin white line, the grinding is carried out.

Grinding part
The grinding of carbide saw blade is mainly on the back of the grinding teeth, the front of the grinding teeth as the shop, the tooth side without special requirements. In addition, because the saw Angle (backlash Angle) is much smaller than the side edge of the back Angle, the top of the tooth after reducing the width of the saw material has little impact, grinding teeth in front of the effect is exactly the opposite, so the focus of grinding is behind the tooth.
Maintain serrated Angle
When leaving the factory, the front Angle and back Angle of the saw blade have been determined, so in the process of regrinding must keep the size of each Angle unchanged, which is also the requirement of the characteristics of the alloy saw blade. After grinding the carbide saw blade, the forward and backward angles remain unchanged under the following conditions: the Angle between the grinding wheel working surface and the front and rear tooth surfaces to be grinded is equal to the grinding Angle, and the moving distance of the grinding wheel is equal to the grinding quantity. To make the grinding wheel working surface parallel to the sawtooth surface to be grinding, and then gently contact, and then make the grinding wheel working surface away from the tooth surface, then adjust the grinding wheel working face Angle according to the grinding Angle, and finally make the grinding wheel working face and tooth surface contact.
Grinding dosage
Grinding quantity includes grinding heat, feed speed and grinding depth. The grinding speed is high, the grinding heat is large, easy to burn the tooth edge; When the abrasive particle collapse is too much, the grinding surface is rough, the grinding quantity should be increased; The higher the feed rate, the higher the grinding heat and residual stress, and the higher the grinding wheel loss. In order to reduce the number of grain collapse and improve the quality of grinding surface, it is necessary to reduce the feed speed. The grinding depth in rough grinding is 0. 01~0. 05 mm; The recommended feed speed is 1 to 2m /min.
Grinding equipment
There are three types of equipment for grinding alloy steel saw blades: automatic saw grinding machine, manual saw grinding machine and universal blade grinding machine. Automatic saw grinding machine is divided into numerical control and general automatic type.
Tooth side grinding
Generally, the tooth side does not need to be grinded. If grinding is needed, the working face of disc grinding wheel should be inclined to meet the requirements of sawing Angle and side back Angle, or flat grinding wheel can be used for grinding. The purpose of tooth side grinding is to make the tooth side edge on the same cutting plane, in order to improve the sawing quality. The center of the thickness of the saw body must be on the same plane as the axis line of the grinding wheel, otherwise the position of the left and right grinding edge tips will be inconsistent. When adjusting the machine, first adjust the height of the two to be completely consistent, and then adjust the overall bevel Angle.
Saw blade sharpening
For grinding behind the teeth, disc wheels are usually used. When grinding staggered teeth or trapezoidal teeth, the axis of the grinding wheel or the axis of the saw table containing the saw blade shall be tilted. The Angle between the grinding wheel working surface and the back tooth is equal to the back bevel Angle of the tooth of the saw blade. When grinding tooth back, the grinding wheel working surface should be parallel to the back of tooth.
Disc wheel is used for tooth front grinding. When the front bevel is equal to zero, the grinding wheel working surface and the front tooth are perpendicular to the horizontal plane. When grinding a saw blade with a front bevel Angle, the saw table or grinding wheel should be tilted at an Angle equal to the front bevel Angle. In addition, every other tooth, staggered grinding. When grinding the front of the arc tooth, use the round rod grinding wheel. The diameter of the grinding wheel should be the same as that in front of the tooth, and the axis line of the front arc of the tooth should be coincident with that of the grinding wheel of the round rod.
How to maintain and grind cemented carbide saw blade:
Since carbide is both hard and brittle, great care should be taken in use and storage to avoid damage to the tooth edge of the saw tooth.
When installing the saw blade on the saw shaft, never place the saw blade on a hard platform or accidentally touch a hard object.
When stored, each piece of saw should be placed with a cushion to avoid contact between the carbide teeth or with other hard objects.
In the process of taking and sending saw blade grinding, we must pay attention to protect the tooth edge of the saw blade from damage. Often remove the sawtooth side attached to the resin, sawdust and other sundries.
